Warbird Training Center - Home of the Checkertail Clan

Have you ever dreamt of flying a World War II fighter? The Warbird Training Center offers orientation flights in our AT-6 "Texan" trainer. We specialize in T-6 checkouts and training, offering flight and ground instruction. We offer an insurance checkout program that can get pilots insured in a T-6 in fewer hours, and qualify them for substantial insurance discounts. Whether you're looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience or interested in learning to fly a warbird yourself, you've come to the right place!

Navigate through the links above to learn more about the Warbird Training Center and our offerings!

Along with providing warbird pilot training and exciting flight experiences, our organization is dedicated to preserving the history of World War II, specifically that of Herschel 'Herky' Green and his 325th fighter wing. For more information, check out the Checkertail Museum pages, or navigate through the "Checkertail History" links at the top of the page.
